Fan Art, Commissions, and Edits
Twitter Tag: #artlaneThe following guidelines apply to all instances of Fan Art, Commissions done of my avatar, and Edits. Please make sure all proper credits (avatar, artist, etc) are assigned when sharing.- Gore is perfectly fine.
Sexual Content and Nudity is only allowed in the following scenarios:
- Artistic Nudity (Nudity who's presence is NOT to tantalize or otherwise serve as a vehicle for arousal in the viewer)
- Outfits: If a chick can wear it without getting mostly weird looks to get some groceries, its free game. If its a meme image, rules are a bit more lax.
Other content, including drawings made with clear intent to arouse, or otherwise depicting intercourse in any way, is prohibited. My avatar doesn't even have that kind of anatomy anyway.Other Prohibited/Limited Shit:
- Hair color changes, unless if for a palette shift theme;
- Major body type changes (slight adjustments are ok)
- Romantic Pairings with other characters, based off fact or fiction, unless as a meme (controversial characters/individuals, including wildly contested fictional characters, and real life politicians, remain prohibited even in memery)
- No alcohol. Drugs are only permitted in a meme context (420 blaze it, for example). Smoking and vaping prohibited, but sick looking smoking poses can be used if the cigarette is replaced with a lollipop or a pen, 4kids style (before anyone asks: I got bored enough to chew pens.)
All other themes, ideas, and what have you, are permitted, and rules will not be placed on pieces retroactively if someone rolls on up into my server with something I didnt think of here.

But what causes them, an inbetween of human anatomy and intelligence with animal characteristics, to be?
Mobians are born in response to Chaos.
If Chaos consumes the land, Mobians are born to restore harmony.
For countless years, this has remained the case, and yet...'Why is it not working now? It has worked fine before.'
Doctor Eggman remained at large after endless amounts of clashes with Mobians of all shapes, personalities -
It wasn't for a lack of strength but...
A lack of urgency? Care? Interest?
This could not be left to stand.

Angel Island.
Something beckoned the newly "born" Mobian forth.
A Pangolin.
In an attempt to "outsmart" the Doctor, a Mobian was manifested with mechanical augumentations.
However, machinery is not something that can be recreated organically -
At least, not well, considering the newly formed Pangolin's physique.
It can't be intentional for a newly born creature to be lacking an abdomen, after all.
The Pangolin approached the Master Emerald at the Island's center with a mindless ease, taking no detour or delay to intake it's surroundings in greater detail.
It's mission was relayed to it - All previously manifested Mobians failed to kill Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik.
So it is up to it to kill him, and put an end to the cycle of Chaos following him.

STATEMENT: It is literally all me doing this, so I will simply narrate myself.NARRATION: With the information bestowed upon me by that data dump, I came to understand my capacities with my weapon, Trademark.EXPLANATION: If the name does not give any clues, Trademark's specialty is in replication - but as a weapon, it is limited to only replicating weapons.EXCLAMATION: So lets launch a missile to get to the mainland!EXPLANATION: -Following my arrival to said mainland, I get some clothes. Because who is born clothed? I decided to mix it up with something more... Colorful and Kid-Friendly?OBSERVATION: A lot of people see this as a mere kid's franchise, after all.ADMISSION: Theres also still some lingering jank... I could justify as 'leftover data', but I'll be straight with it-EXPLANATION: 'alane' started as 'alene', a mobian OC who had significant cosmetic 'imperfections' as a result of experimentations - And so some of that janky DNA has carried on into this modern incarnation! It's who I am, especially on the mobian side of things.REALIZATION: ...This became less "lore" and more "commentary", hasn't it.AFFIRMATION: I think it works though. Feels more "me" than something melodramatic and perfectly in-setting.CONCLUSION: Since killing Doctor Eggman won't change anything outside of this "here", lets have fun in this setting instead! Maybe that blasted not-Counter Force will be more careful with loredumping on future mobians...
